As I was asking around for good fashion places to visit, Dali street came into the conversation. During my research I couldn't find information on just this street but more around the surrounding district. I've gotten information on the Wanhua shopping district (萬華商圈) and the Monjia/Mengjia/Monga shopping district. (Spelling varied on the sites I visited.)
Again like Wufenpu there is a deep history associated with this area. The aunt that recommended me this place said that she buys more clothes here than Wufenpu because it is cheaper. However, due to youths migrating their interests into more populated areas like Wufenpu and Ximending, the clothes here target mostly women in their middle to old age.
While mostly likely I won't be buying anything here. I would still like to visit. Just its history with garment factories is enough to entice me to go.
