Found another food place that I absolutely must go! 4Mano Caffe is this little cute cafe that has delicious looking waffles as well as modern decor, apposed to the more kawaii looks that have become popular. Again why I must go is not for the food but for its mascot. Similar to how Ah Mao Risotto has a golden retriever mascot, 4Mano has a husky.
Apparently the story behind this dog is that before the store was going to open, a little husky pup wandered into the cafe. No one claimed the pup even after being reported to the police. Deciding to keep the puppy they named it Mano and since then Mano has become the good luck charm of the 4Mano Caffe.
Unlike Ah Mao, apparently you can interact with Mano! He loves to go to tables for pats and will even greet some guests with his iconic "Woohoohoo!" I've read that some patrons are lucky enough to walk him along the streets around the cafe. Finger crossed!!
You can bet that you'll find me here during my trip. Enough to stave off my dog withdraw. Hopefully not too much that I'm tempted to take him home! Haha.
